Short Bio

Vanesa Rodríguez is Professor at the Department of Sociology in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Oviedo. Her main research interests are employment policies, labour market segmentation, employment protection legislation, employment of people with disabilities, and the impact of labour market performance on poverty and social exclusion. He has published different academic articles among others in the International Journal of Manpower; WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment, and Rehabilitation; Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation and a chapter on Disadvantaged Workers: Empirical Evidence and Labour Policies.
