Short Bio
Aroa Tejero is Research Assistant at the Department of Sociology of the University of Oviedo. She has a degree in Sociology from University of Salamanca and a PhD from the University of Oviedo, defended on December 2014. Her dissertation was titled “In-work poverty dynamics”, mainly focused on the longitudinal analysis of the relationship between poverty and employment in Spain.
Her main research interests include economic sociology, youth employment, and inequality and poverty quantitative analysis. She has been involved in two European projects: Reconciling Work and Welfare in Europe (RECWOWE, FP6) and Strategic Transitions for Youth Labour in Europe (STYLE, FP7).
