Biography

Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration (Financial Economics and Accounting Area) at the University of Oviedo.

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Oviedo (2012), Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universities of Cantabria, Oviedo and Basque Country (2014) and PhD in Economics and Business with international mention from the University of Oviedo (2019).

In the last year of her Bachelor’s Degree she obtained a collaboration grant for university students from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, after graduating a contract linked to a research project of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission and in 2015 a FPU contract from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Between 2019 and 2021 she developed her research activity in the Department of Studies and Statistics of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). Since September 2021 she is Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Oviedo.

She has carried out research stays in different foreign universities (Europa Universität Viadrina, Germany, American University of Sharjah, UAE, and American University, USA) and has been involved in several research projects and contracts at international, national and regional level.

She has regularly presented the results of her research at national and international conferences, having received the Novel Researcher Award at the XXX ACEDE Conference. Her work has been published in prestigious scientific journals. She has also published a book chapter in a prestigious international publishing house, articles in the CNMV working paper series and in the CNMV bulletin. Her research activity also includes the evaluation of articles for national and international journals and conferences, having received an award for this activity at the international conference of the European Academy of Management (2018).

Regarding teaching activity, he teaches in the area of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Oviedo. She has carried out teaching stays in foreign universities (Hochschule Emden/Leer, Germany) and is an Erasmus coordinator. On the other hand, she is involved in teaching innovation projects and has published and presented papers at conferences on the subject.
