Biography

Professor of Business Organization at the University of León (ULE) (2022).

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and a PhD from the University of Oviedo. She is an Erasmus coordinator and participates in PhD and master’s degree programs in several Spanish universities. She has participated in several teaching mobility programs, evaluated projects for the Institut de Formation Internationale (IFI), Ecole Supérieure de Comerse, Rouen, France, and taught at the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University (Peru, online). She coordinates the Teaching Innovation Group in Business Strategy at ULE. She has participated in the Castile and León Science Week, the European Researchers’ Night and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Outstanding PhD Award, and Runner-Up in the III Santander Research Award (2017), and second CEF Financial Studies Award (2007). She has published more than 50 journal articles, several books/monographs and book chapters, participated in different research projects and has been the principal researcher of a Research Grant from the FEF and of a project of the Consejería de Hacienda de la Junta of Castile and León. She has supervised several doctoral theses, including two with international mention. She has two six-year research periods.

She has been secretary of the Business Strategy Section of ACEDE (June 2018-June 2022) and since 2019 she is the secretary of the Department of Management and Business Economics of the ULE as well as associate editor of the journal Review of Managerial Science.
