The University of Oviedo publishes a press release on the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”

The University of Oviedo has published a press release announcing the launch of the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”, a teaching innovation project driven by our research group. This initiative aims to bring financial education to schools in Asturias through talks given by students from the Faculty of Economics and Business. In this second edition, 22 participants have joined the program, a significant increase compared to the 14 from last year.

This project enables university students to share their financial knowledge with young people in secondary education, high school, and vocational training, equipping them with key tools for responsible economic decision-making. Through prior training workshops, students acquire communication and methodological skills that prepare them to design and develop teaching materials and deliver approximately 50-minute talks in various educational centers across the region.

From the Finance and Corporate Governance Research Group, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the students who have joined this second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”. We would also like to thank the support of the Institute for Research and Educational Innovation (INIE), the Faculty of Economics and Business (especially the Dean and the Vice Dean of Students), as well as the collaborating institutions that contribute to the training of participants: the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the Bank of Spain, and the Spanish Association of Financial Advisors and Planners (EFPA Spain).
