Our course on personal finance begins at PUMUO in Oviedo

Last Monday, 15 September, marked the beginning of the first semester of the University Programme for Older Adults of the University of Oviedo (PUMUO), held at its Oviedo campus.

From our research group, we would like to thank all participants for the excellent reception of our course “The financial 50+: Personal finance and financial health at maturity”, which will be part of the programme’s academic offer and has a total of 60 enrolled participants. The course will cover key topics for financial decision-making in later life, including saving, investment, debt management, and fraud prevention.

We especially thank the Oviedo branch of the Bank of Spain for its collaboration in this and other financial education initiatives developed within the framework of the FinEduca360 project, which we promote from our group with the aim of bringing financial literacy closer to the people of Asturias.
