On 21 and 22 June 2025, Ignacio Tascón Amo presented the paper “Balancing family ownership and family control strategies and sustainability practices” at the Doctoral Colloquium of the European Academy of Management (EURAM) 2025 Annual Conference, held at the University of Florence (Italy).
Between 15 and 17 June 2025, Ignacio Tascón Amo presented the paper “Balancing family ownership and family control strategies and sustainability practices” at the XXXIV International Conference of the Spanish Association of Economics and Business Administration (ACEDE), held at the Public University of Navarre (Pamplona).
Last week, our group participated in the 5th Annual Boca-ECGI Corporate Finance and Governance Conference, held on December 13-14, 2024, at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid.
On 31st, October, Ignacio Tascón Amo presented at the 7th International Family Business Research Forum, held in Paphos, Cyprus, the article entitled “Analysing the impact: How sustainability drives efficiency in family firms”, co-authored by Alan John Wall and Silvia Gómez Ansón.
On June 18, Ignacio Tascón Amo participated in the Doctoral Consortium of the 2024 IFERA Conference, held in Portugal, with the proposal “Comparing paths to sustainability: SDG practices in family and non-family firms”.
On June 18, Jonathan Calleja Blanco presented at the XXXIII Congress of ACEDE, held in Valencia, the article entitled “The Impact of Environmental Corporate Practices on Regions”, with the participation as co-authors Irma Martínez García, member of the group, and Mercè Bernardo, collaborator of the group.
Silvia Gómez Ansón has participated in the Academic Conference on Financial Literacy Research: Pathways to becoming financially competent, organized by the European Commission, the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) and the KU Leaven. She has presented the paper “Education norms as policies to promote financial literacy: are they effective?”.
Silvia Gómez Ansón and Irma Martínez García have participated in the ICGS Conference (https://www.ie.edu/icgs2023/), held on October 20-22, 2023 in Madrid. They have presented the paper entitled “Sustainable Development Goals, Sustainability Indices and Corporate Governance: An Analysis of Spanish Listed Companies”. On 4 October we participated, as members of the Concepción Arenal Chair of Agenda 2030, in the 1st Meeting of University Sustainability Chairs held in Oviedo. It has been a very enriching day.
