Publication by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) of the study “Educación financiera: avances y desafíos de la investigación”, by Irma Martínez-García and Silvia Gómez-Ansón

    On Financial Education Day, BME today published the study “Educación financiera: avances y desafíos de la investigación”, by Irma Martínez-García and Silvia Gómez-Ansón. Among the conclusions of the report, BME highlights in its press release: “the positive effect of financial education on individual wealth via investment and household economies, or the fact that people with more financial literacy are more aware of retirement planning. The study also analyses the gender gap in financial literacy, among other issues of interest”.

    Publication by Funcas of the book “Educación financiera en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria”

      The book “Educación Secundaria Obligatoria: impacto de la normativa, los programas de educación financiera y desigualdades territoriales”, co-authored by several members of the Group, has been published today, 3 October, during Financial Education Week. The book presents the main results of a project funded by Funcas in the 2021 call of the programme aimed at promoting research in financial education. Our gratitude to Funcas for the opportunity it gave us to carry out a research project on a fundamental topic, financial education.

      Participation in University Extension Class on Agenda 2030 in Villaviciosa

        Irma Martínez García participated on September 25 in the University Extension Class “The United Nations 2030 Agenda: a multidisciplinary approach to identify and understand the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, in Villaviciosa, with “SDG 4: Ensure inclusive, equitable and quality education; SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”.

        Participation in the Researchers’ Night

          Tomorrow, September 29, members of our research group will participate, together with other professors of the University of Oviedo, in the European Researchers’ Night organised by the UCC+I of the University of Oviedo. Our stand: «¿Hai derechu o no hay derecho? Combate la vulnerabilidad lingüística, económica y jurídica».
