Lecture by Miguel Ángel Lurueña: “For honest food advertising”

5 March, 2024 por Adrian Alvarez Rodriguez

On Tuesday 5 March 2024, our Sociology of Consumption students had the privilege of listening to Miguel Ángel Lurueña talk about advertising and food.

He is a well-known figure on social networks, where he discloses from user @gominolasdepetroleo. It is a pleasure for us to be able to enjoy this kind of event, and to have such a serious and controversial “food influencer” questioning common food hoaxes that go viral on social media.

He is also the author of Gominolas de petróleo, where he writes about food science and technology, and author of the book ‘Que no te líen con la comida’.

We enjoyed the conference very much, thank you very much Miguel Ángel!
